This latest poem of yours is, at this point, your magnum opus I think. Such subtlety, such imagination, such a delicate penetration to the heart of nature's secrets (secrets I'm sure Rainbow Dash is intimately familiar with herself). I think Dante and Blake would be proud to read such a heartfelt love poem. Your style is definitely evolving and improving, it seems. I really love reading all your poetry, but this one really struck me as a standout. "And downpours precise..." what a perfect line and a perfect image to express something so inexpressible and yet so essential!

What does Rainbow think of it? I presume you shared it with her.

I hardly think I deserve all those compliments, but thank you all the same. ^^

I wrote it after she left to go pick up Scoots today. I try to reign in the "mushy" when she's with her adoptive little sister, but I plan to share it with her when she returns later tonight. x )
